The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian organization to protect human life and health based in India. The society's mission is providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health & care of vulnerable people and communities. It is a leading member of the largest independent humanitarian organization in the world, the International Red Cross & Red Crescent Movement The IRCS has 35 State / Union Territories Branches with their more than 700 districts and sub district branches. Indian Red Cross Society,District Branch Indore is one among them effective since year 1980.

Indian Red Cross Society,District Branch Indore head office(situated at M.O.G. line) has been inaugurate by former collector Mr.M. Gopal Reddy. This office has been shifted to Collectorate Campus,Moti tabela ,Indore dated on 1 Nov 2014.

Red Cross is a voluntary international organization was established to provide assistance to victims and injured on the battlefield in the year 1863. In India the Indian Red Cross Society was formed under Parliamentary Act in 1920. The humanity, neutrality, impartiality, independence, self-service, integrity and universality of Red Cross Organization has urged the Red Cross Society District Indore to provide services to poor and needy in the form of finance assistance, free medicines, ambulance vehicles, blood donation camps, physiotherapy for children of aanganwadi centres etc.  
The development of this website is an attempt to join with more and more citizens with the organization, so that they can get profited with the available services provided by the organization.

Jean Henri Dunant (8 May 1828 – 30 October 1910), also known as Henry Dunant, was a Swiss businessman and social activist. During a business trip in 1859, he was witness to the aftermath of the Battle of Solferino in modern-day Italy. He recorded his memories and experiences in the book A Memory of Solferino which inspired the creation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 1863.
