1> Personnel Management - It facilitates exemption in a variety of ways - Particular departments like MPEB, particular office of a department, particular designations like Doctors, Nurses, senior professors, drivers and individual on request. It has very good reports which are more than mere checklists of departments, offices or employees. They give other derived information which is expected from any MIS. Variety of ways in which user may expect to access the data , variety of ways to update the information eg. From Training Feedback the key to access the employee record is by Training Date, Time and Venue (Training Hall No.) - all employees for that schedule are accessible at a glance which is very handy for Operators to update. It has User Operation reports also whereby every insert, update, delete made by the user is monitored. This process facilitated faster compilation and preparation of employees database and proved that it was easily understood and usable by even tehsil level operators.

2> Training Management - Phase 1 and Phase 2 , includes Automatic Generation of Training Schedules ; Selective Cancellation of Trainings - Eg. All Class 1 officers, Special departments if they have some meetings on particular training dates ; Replacement from the remainder to complete the full capacity of training halls; Attendance Sheets Hallwise; Intimation to Respective Offices.

3> Personnel Selection and Deployment Module - It facilitates the end user to select Employees on a variety of parameters and provides an interface for exporting the results for further processing as required by End User. It is a versatile tool to be used on all occasions requiring Man Power Planning. This facility is required during elections for catering to man power requirement of Officers who are responsible for other election tasks like Material Distribution, arranging transport for polling parties etc.

4> Polling Party Generation and Randomization module - It includes cancellation and automatic as well as manual replacement of local polling party personnel ; Manual replacement of remote district polling party personnel ; Random mapping of Polling Booths and Polling Parties. Polling Duty Order generation officewise order and party no. order. This has totally eased the task of Dispatching Polling Duty Orders. They get ready to dispatch sets of Polling Duty Orders for 1500 offices in Indore.

5> Module for Election Result Processing and Information dissemination from Counting sites. This module helps in generating Results in various formats (Form 20 etc.) as desired by Returning Officer at the counting site. It was implemented by setting up a network of 12 computers for 8 assembly segments in Indore.

Bank Note Press Dewas Project : A module for spare parts inventory managament has been implemented. Support for setting up Documentation Center was given where asp scripts were developed as desired for security and restricted access. Training was imparted to BNP employees on Macromedia Dreamweaver , conversion to PDF format, content management and presenting on their intranet portal. Project Proposal has been submitted by NIC-MP State Unit which is under consideration.

Court Cases Monitoring System (CCMS) :- Foxbase Application customized & implemented in Collectorate Judicial Cases (JC) section for monitoring Cases filed in District Court,High Court,Supreme Court, Tribunal Court etc. It captures case details which includes court, case no.,Year of filing,case category, Lawyer, OIC appointed for the case, Subject, Petitioner,Respondent, Hearing Date etc. Useful reports are generated in Gist 7-bit ISCII font. The application is obsolete now and Data is being ported into MS-ACESS and suitable front end application is being developed.

Physically handicapped Survey - 1997 & 2004 - The FOXBASE application was designed and developed by NIC Indore. It was implemented throughout the state of M.P. It was a versatile application where survey information in 64 column format given by State Govt. formed the input and useful analytical reports could be generated on any of the parameters. The application was further linked to "Chunauti Camps" conducted for Physically Disabled periodically in order to enrich this information and to help in selecting candidates for specific welfare programmes. Eg. you can generate list of people fulfilling user defined criteria - "Give me all Blind people in the age group 18-50 years who are ITI qualified and residing in village "Girota".
